If someone imagines three-dimensional space as “concrete in itself,” it still needs to be contained somewhere, as material things occupy an empty room. If you imagine that such an empty space containing the current space exists, then we step into an infinite regress. Where is the container space contained?
We need to assume that the whole structure of the material world is purely informational with no physical substrate, a paradox in itself. It is still concrete and governed by physical laws, but there is no concreteness in itself apart from relative concreteness.
Within the same line of inquiry, the following issue arises, perhaps from the opposing side:
Before or when everything was created, from both a physical (e.g. the Big Bang) and a metaphysical (e.g. the first movement of the world, assuming that existence is not cyclical) standpoint, where was all the information “stored”? This verb is probably not the right one, but the gist of the question is clear. Is there a way to store information without a medium?
